Our History

While our roots trace back to 1990, our team and services continue to evolve to meet the changing technology needs of our clients. Seitel Systems was first established in 1990 as Seitel Leeds & Associates before becoming Seitel Systems, LLC in 2006. In 2022, we took another new step, becoming the employee-owned organization Seitel Systems, INC. Our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) ensures that our team’s interests are well-aligned with the success of our clients and our firm.
